For others Pakistan may be worst country in the world. For me it’s the best in this world. I m now in my early thirties and I remember I was 24 when I completed my studies and the very first job I got was in UAE, I was excited and feeling top of the world.
I left Pakistan in 2014 and from there on I lived in Europe for 2 years and now in living in Canada for last 1 year. Now the reason I’m moving to other continents and countries is that I was not able find the life I thought I ll have after leaving Pakistan. While I was studying in Pakistan mostly people make your mind to work abroad because of high salaries and better opportunities. When I moved UAE I realized mostly immigrants there dream about getting job in Europe and fascinates about the life of Europe. I moved to Europe to get that amazing life I was looking for and realized that this is not a place I want to live and grow old and decided to move to Canada. Now Canada is good place to live but honestly I don’t think I can live here for rest of my life. As I am growing older I am realizing the importance of Pakistan.
Now coming to the main point what’s make Pakistan best country for me.
1- First of all this is the country where I studied and made myself capable enough to compete internationally and I didn’t know the quality of education of Pakistan when I was in Pakistan. As I started living outside of Pakistan. I started realizing it isn’t as bad as we think in Pakistan.
2-Culture and Values of Pakistan. I remember when I used to hang out with my friends in Pakistan nobody amongst friends ever thinks about money before going out it was pretty obvious who has money is going to pay doesn’t matter how many times that person has paid already because friends don’t feel wastage of money by spending on other friends and that’s selfless bonding I dint find anywhere so far.
3-Family system. Trust me guys our family system is blessing to us and strength of Pakistan.Where they teach us to respect elders, parents and teach us to scarifies for each other in times of hardship despite differences. You will never ever feel alone in your life. In west they have lost their family system. I am not saying they don’t love each other but definitely they will think 1000 times when money is involved.
4- I start missing my parents and friends because I m matured now I see things now differently. When I was in 20’s I used to fantasize western culture after watching movies or shows but after living here I realized it’s all fake. Life cycle here for normal person is the moment you start your university you’re in debt. You repay your student loans and you get home on mortgage and you’re in debt for another decade. It’s kinda repaying debts whole of your life. In Pakistan the cycle is parents happily pay for their children and in old age children never abandon their parents and this connection remains intact all life.
5- In Pakistan it’s obvious for people that government will not do anything in times of any disaster so people don’t look for government and start helping others and that’s makes us one of the most generous nations in the world.
Pakistan isn’t that bad as you think while living in Pakistan, thanks to our media who always try it’s best to convince us to leave it as soon as possible. Plus as human we don’t realize worth of anything until we loose it.
